WHO WILL BE THERE IN HEAVEN?

So many of us are only focused on what it takes to get to heaven.

Invariably we compare ourselves with really bad people (murderers, rapists, terrorists) who we think will bring down the celestial property values.

But Heaven is not about us. We did nothing to earn the entry rights. Getting into heaven is entirely by God’s grace not by what we have done (Ephesians 2:8-9). And this grace is found in Jesus. He is the reason we are going to heaven.

ABBA FATHER, Heaven is not about what we do, but about who Jesus is. That is why we will have three surprises: those who we think will make it may not be there, while those we think who won’t make it may be there. And the third surprise – we are there – by God’s grace – if we leave it to our Lord as the Perfect Judge who will make the fairest decision as to who gets in and who doesn’t.
