Father God, Your Son Jesus is the Second Person of the Godhead. Yesterday we understood He is our covering ( our house ) and today we see Him like a light-house – the Light of the World. He beckons us to follow Him as He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Indeed we follow the paths of righteousness after His Namesake ( Psalm 23 ). For “as we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin” ( 1 John 1:7 ).
