Study #14: HEI

HEI remains a really special letter as God incorporated it many times to represent His Name to us.

Here are 4 instances:

1. YAH as the God of Israel …יָהּ

2. As YHVH which is His Most Holy and Eternal Name, HEI is used twice here ( Yod HEI Vav HEI )…יְהֹוָה

3. As an abbeviation of the unutterable YHVH, the Jews use the word HASHEM ( The Name ) instead written with a single HEI …ה

4. As His First Biblical Name of ELOHIM in Genesis 1:1 with HEI smack in the middle of that Name…אֱלֹהִים

Father God, You wanted us to realise how awesome and august is Your Name above all names through the repeated use of HEI. Indeed HEI is synonymous for who You truly are: our God of Mercy and Grace.
