PART #2 – CHET IN THE WORD CHOSHEK ( DARKNESS )

Yesterday we learnt that “Darkness” in Hebrew is a metaphor for the confines of sin, a virtual prison of no escape.

But God in His mercy has given us a way out through the coded numerals of the 3 letters that spell CHOSHEK ( DARKNESS ):

1. CHET ( 8 ) holds the number of NEW BEGINNINGS, NEW LIFE, ETERNITY.

2. SHIN ( 300 ) is the number of Election, SUPERNATURAL VICTORY OVER DEATH.

3. KAF ( 20 ) is the number of ordinal perfection ( 2×10), REDEMPTION.

The 3 numbers declare NEW BIRTH and the promise of ETERNAL LIFE. They reveal there is a supernatural victory over death and darkness accomplished by the Blood Sacrifice of the Lamb of God.

Father God, Jesus had many things to say about CHOSHEK ( DARKNESS ). But this bold assertion of John 8:12 stands out loud and clear: ” I am the LIGHT of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in DARKNESS, but shall have the LIGHT of life”.
