Study #15: TET

Study #15: TET

CHET, TET AND YOD IN A ROW

These 3 letters are significant as they come one after another to form a trio with divine meaning.

CHET = Pictorial of the Union between Vav in submission to Zayin akin to a marital union when a wife dutifully submits to her husband.

2. TET is the seed of the womb from the union between a husband and wife i.e. the foetus which will become the child of hope and promise.

3. YOD is the fruit of the union, the child that will be the hand ( bearer of authority) of his or her parents.

In such progressive revelations, we see the beauty of these three letters that are recited as a trio of blessings upon the family of God.

Heavenly Father, the sages say TET is the least mentioned letter while YOD is the most frequently mentioned letter of the Hebrew Alphabet. TET is likened to the quiet period of child-bearing while YOD is the much publicised outing of a newborn child. Thus the sanctity of marriage and family life ( especially the proper care and upbringing of children ) are seen as a trio of privileges and responsibilities for a married couple in Your economy for our lives. That is why for Jews and believers in Christ alike, family life is first and foremost.
