TESTIMONIES FROM DESTINY C3 CHURCH
They are parents, not only to their four boys – Ethan, Joshua, Judah and Noah, but also to the church at large. Both are graduates of the C3 Bible College in Sydney, where they received the vision and call to plant this church. Obedient to their call and the voice of the Holy Spirit, Clarance and Debbie reflect the deep intimacy with God that they preach.
“3 years ago, I was 5 months pregnant and my husband had just passed away due to cancer. It was the toughest time of my life dealing with a toddler and being pregnant at the same time. I had to move house and start all over from scratch. Finances were tight and my emotions was all over the place. But what was constant and still is; is the love and peace of God that surrounded me every step of the way. He is the foundation that kept me grounded. He constantly reminded me that I am taken care of by bringing people from all walks of life and helping me in everything. I was new to Destiny C3 at that time, but the church family was already praying for me and my family.
One memory that is still stuck in my mind is the time I was in church, not knowing much people and was looking at the drummer on stage, the tears just started streaming as my husband used to always play the drums when I led worship in our previous church, so I knew it was going to be hard to start worship leading again. Suddenly this girl comes up to me, gives me a big hug and said that I was a blessing to her. I was shocked that I didn’t even know her name but she had heard my story and was blessed by it. Talk about God’s perfect timing. I now stand confidently up there on stage leading worship because of God’s unfailing and unconditional love for me and my family. My prayer for each of you is that you understand that sometimes life can drag you down and you feel like throwing in the towel, but remember, you may be down but you’re never Out! Your life is still God’s Plan A.”
“l work with underprivileged kids from Myanmar, Bangladesh, Indonesia and more. When the COVID-19 crisis happened, a lot of parents became so worried as how will they manage with no money cause they are daily paid. I really wanted to bless them with food. Yet l know l didn’t have enough food or finances. A few days ago, this girl whom l know from a previous NGO messaged me and asked what l would like to do. I told her my heart’s desire for our families. She managed to raise up RM 1k. When she transferred, she managed to raise RM 1.5k. She could not order online. So we managed to get these items for RM 2k inclusive of plastic bags for 75 families. It’s time to show our people that God cares for them! God is able to bless others through us. Let’s be that blessing”
After the news was announced that the MCO will be extended Irene had to announce to them that school is closed for another 3 weeks and the parents were very fearful of the unknown. The parents have no work hence no means to provide for their kids. This month they pulled through with their help. Next month it will be difficult for them. We pray that God will give them the assurance and peace that He will watch over them and provide. Do pray with us. If you would like to contribute please drop us a message and we will be in touch. Head on to their page for more photos of the children and more about Pertubuhan Pusat Kebajikan Destiny.
“He is my protector: some time ago a large piece of concrete in my office fell directly on my seat. Just seconds before this happened, the Holy Spirit prompted me to get up and stand at my staff’s desk while doing my office work. Before a minute had passed, the large stone fell and my colleague said, wow it’s a good thing you moved from there.
He loves me: way back when I was in my early twenties I was dating a nonbeliever for five years, I knew that I would never forsake my God for a man. However, when you don’t ask God to do something about your situation, He lets you go through it till you ask Him to intervene. I prayed and said “Lord, I love this man but I love You more and I don’t know how to leave him but I leave it to You. Take me out of this situation, lead me.” Soon after, the relationship ended. It wasn’t easy but God loves us and knows the best for His children.
He leads my path: As a child I loved singing. I longed to sing so much that I actually thought of becoming a pub/lounge singer. But God had His plans for me, He led me to become a singer in His House. The talent He bestowed on me, the gift of singing was all for Him, to magnify, to praise and to worship Him. The blessings that follow are indeed far greater and cannot be exchanged for worldly pleasures.
He is my provider: Recently I resigned from a job of eight years. I left without having another job. I continued to pray for a job and surely, a former GM recommended me to my present GM. You see God connects us and gives us favour. I attended 5 tough interviews but God was with me all the way and made it all fall into place. Friends, seek after God with diligence, have faith in God. God is good, He loves You and will never forsake you. Lean on Him for everything and let Him direct your path.”
“So it first started when my dad was starting his business in Kuala Selangor and there was only 2 cars, Angie and my Dads. My dad couldn’t send me to work because he needed to go early to his work which is about 3-hour drive from here and I was worried about getting a car because of the monthly instalment as my basic is low. Anyway my dad was the one who went to showrooms to apply. He would always ask me to print out the necessary documents and I was very sceptical because I didn’t want to have a commitment with low basic pay. Many banks rejected us. Till the salesman found out that I am a Toyota staff and immediately the loan got approved and the day when I got the car was exactly mother’s day . So it isn’t a coincidence. It’s like God and my mom was planning for this all along and also at the same time I got a promotion for my job . God’s timing is always perfect .
“I have been going through tough times for about a year now. Was looking for job and going interviews but nothing worked out. By gods grace I finally found a job recently and would be starting work from this coming Monday. God gave a perfect job with the expected salary that I needed. During this one year God saw to it and met all our financial needs, a roof over our head and good food. I was also recently Not well with having irregular menstrual problem and was healed during one of Pastor Clarance’s sermons about faith”
