Study #16: DALET

Each of the letters of the Hebrew Alphabet has a numerical value:

Aleph = 1 = God the Father

Bet = 2 = God the Son

Gimel = 3 = God the Holy Spirit

Dalet = 4 = God in Creation

We can see from the numericals alone that the Trinity is behind and backing the whole of Creation.

How is the universe upheld in such precise order?

Total up the 4 letters and you get 10 = God’s Torah ( Teachings/ Word ) e.g. The Ten Commandments, the Rule of Law.

In other words, the whole universe is upheld by the Power of His Word.

Pause and think awhile what will happen if God suddenly stops speaking?

Father God, what awesome revelations Hebrew holds for us. Unlike any other language in the world, You use it to speak into our lives conventionally, pictorially and numerically ( prophetically ). May we study it diligently and harken to obey the wonderful truths encoded in it. Indeed let everything that has breath praise You ( Psalm 150:6 ). For by the power of Your Word we live and move and have our being ( Acts 17:28 ). And together with the psalmist we realise how wonderfully and fearfully we were created for Your glory ( Psalm 139:14 ).
