Study #12: KAF

THE KAF WORD FOR MERCY SEAT ( KAPPORETH ): PART 2

Yesterday we studied one aspect of the Pictorials for KAPPORETH as a covering for sin.

Today we shall do the Gematria meaning of the word KAPPORETH.

1. Kaf = 20 = Redemption.

2. Pei = 80 = New Beginnings

3. Resh = 200 = Insufficiency of Man compared to God’s sufficiency.

4. Tav = 400 = ordained time to bring forth redemption.

The compelling message strung together is that only God ( not Man ) in His perfect timing can bring forth redemption of His people from their sin by the Perfect Blood Sacrifice that will do away with the blood of bulls and goats once and for all ( Hebrews 10:11-13 ).This points to the Coming of the Messiah who we know is Yeshua Ha Masiach in His First Coming.

Heavenly Father, indeed Yeshua is the Perfect Sacrifice. As Hebrews 10:14 testifies – “For by one offering He hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified”.
