- THE GOSPEL MUST BE LIFE-ALTERING
Yesterday we learnt that faith in Christ is not the end of spiritual life but only the beginning:
- Firstly we repented and believe the good news ( Mark 1:15 ).
- Secondly, as disciples of Christ, we heed His words to “Follow Me” ( Mark 1:17 ).
In other words, trusting Him should become our daily lifestyle. We must keep coming back to faith every day for the rest of our lives.
Heavenly Father, the GOSPEL encourages us to wrap our hearts and minds around Your grace. Difficult as it may seem, we can experience it by faith. Once we trusted Jesus for our salvation, He must become our way, our truth, our life. In a world full of bad news, Paul teaches followers of Christ how to live and respond.
