Study #2: DALET

The way DALET is written in Hebrew is a pictogram of a doorpost and lintel דֶּ֫

Since every letter of the Hebrew Alphabet points to Jesus, let us make the connection.

1. In the Old Testament, Jesus is our Passover Lamb ( Read Paul’s revelation in 1 Corinthians 5:7 )

The blood of the Passover Lamb was placed on the doorposts and lintel of the Israelites in Goshen in Egypt before their Exodus into the Promised Land. The Angel of Death who saw the blood “passover-ed ” their homes and spared their firstborn ( Exodus 12:27 )

2. In the New Testament, Jesus is the Door ( John 10:7 )

He said: ” I am the Door. Whoever enters through Me will be saved”.

Father God, Jesus indeed is our DALET – the door of our redemption – if we decide to go through our Lord’s Door and leave the Darkness of the Kingdom of Egypt behind and enter into His Kingdom of Light.The choice is entirely ours.
