Study #10: AYIN

Study #10: AYIN

AYIN: THE 16TH LETTER OF THE HEBREW ALPHABET

WHAT A DIFFERENCE AN AYIN MAKES! (Part 1)

The word for Covenant in Hebrew is BRIT.

Add AYIN in front as the silent modifier and you have IVRIT (the name given to the Jews as God’s People Who See, Understand and Obey His Covenant).

This divine alchemy leads the sages to compare AYIN with ALEPH – as God wanted His Chosen People to be the head (ALEPH) and not the tail.

Deuteronomy 28:13 King James Version (KJV)

13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

Abba Father, of all the names you could have chosen for the people who are the “apple of Your eye”, You chose IVRIT – meaning those who see, understand and observe Your Covenant. Here is a timely reminder of what Yeshua required of us as His disciples: ” If you love Me, keep My Commandments “.

John 14:15 King James Version (KJV)

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
