AYIN: THE 16TH LETTER OF THE HEBREW ALPHABET
EDEN SPELT AS AYIN, DALET AND NUN (PART 1)
This is an AYIN word loaded with deep meaning.
It is both a PLACE and PERSON (PRESENCE OF GOD).
Today let us study EDEN as a PLACE:
- It is the name of the Biblical Garden where God placed Adam as a Gardener to tend and to sustain himself.
- It is the Lost Paradise on earth where sinful Adam and Eve were banished from.
- The entrance to this earthly paradise is guarded by two Cherubim and a flaming sword.

“After sending them out, the LORD God stationed mighty cherubim to the east of the Garden of Eden. And he placed a flaming sword that flashed back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.”
- It is believed that the Garden City of New Jerusalem will be the abode of the righteous – a veritable heaven on earth. Just as Eden had a river that watered the Garden of Eden, the New Jerusalem will have the river of life (Gen. 2:10, Rev. 22:1-2).
Abba Father, the popular idea of heaven is – for some believers – a place somewhere in the heavenlies. But the Edenic Paradise has always been rooted and grounded on Planet Earth. For the Bible begins with the Garden of Eden in Genesis and ends with a Garden State called the New Jerusalem in the Book of Revelation. May we be found worthy of accessing Your Eden – to be where You are throughout eternity – cleansed by the Blood of Jesus and sanctified by the Holy Spirit as The Bride of Christ.
